Spray Soleil

FAQ

  • What is a Spray Soleil Tan?

A Spray Soleil tan utilizes an HVLP (High Velocity, Low Pressure) hand held machine to apply a sugar based DHA (Dihydroxy acetone) solution. The solution is applied evenly to the skin in about 20 minutes or less!

  • What is Dihydroxyacetone & is it safe?

Dihydroxyacetone- DHA is FDA approved & safe for your skin. It only affects the top layer of the skin & will naturally fade as your skin exfoliates, just like a real tan!

  • How long will my tan last?

On average your tan will last about 7-10 days.  The life of your spray tan depends on your skins natural exfoliation rate &  the care you give your skin. Moisturizing twice a day and avoiding abrasive products will prolong the life of your tan.

  • How frequently should I get spray tanned?

It works much like a normal tan.  If you don’t keep up with it, you will lose it.  If you want to look tan on a continued basis, we recommend getting sprayed once a week. Ask about our Frequent Tanner Package!

  • Am I going to be orange?

Absolutely not.  Spray Soleil only uses the best products for your tan.  These products have been rigorously tested on several different skin types to ensure they provide the best tones of golden brown.

  • Where in my house will we be doing the spray tanning?

Our technician will bring a three sided pop up tent that you will be asked to stand in during your appointment.  This means that we can do it in any room that is well lit with absolutely no clean up.

  • What do I wear during my appointment?

You can wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.  Typically, clients will wear undergarments or bikinis.  We do suggest dark colors.  You are more than welcome to go topless if you do not want those pesky tan lines.

  • How long will my appointment take?

A typical single appointment will take 20-30 minutes, an addition 10-15 per person added to the appointment. This includes set up & breakdown.
